YOUR CONTRIBUTION GOES A LONG WAY
TRAUMA RELIEF
SEXUAL ASSAULT
90% of the women in Haiti’s notorious slums experience rape or sexual assault at some point in their lifetimes.
TRAUMA THERAPY
Aid Still Required trauma therapy programs work with women and girls to restore strength, confidence and peace.
HEALING
$100 allows a woman to receive an entire year’s worth of programming, bringing healing for herself, her family and her community.
CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS
CHILDREN IN NEED
After the earthquake, Haiti’s orphanages were overflowing with children who had either lost their parents or whose parents could no longer care for them.
OADENN
Aid Still Required’s OADENN program provides counseling, mentoring, health care, schooling and safe places for play for over 100 children in Cap Haitien in northern Haiti.
A NEW LIFE
$250 provides hope for a new life for one child for an entire year in the OADENN program.
JATROPHA PROGRAM
UNEMPLOYMENT
In rural Haiti, unemployment rates are well over 80%, there is inconsistent access to electricity and fuel, and there has been massive deforestation.
SIRONA CARES
Aid Still Required is partnering with Sirona Cares to provide jobs for thousands of Haitian farmers through the Jatropha Program.
BIO-FUEL
After jatropha trees mature, farmers in the program harvest the seeds which are then pressed into a sustainable diesel alternative to be sold, thereby doubling the farmers’ income.
